    Relied on the Heilongjiang Institute of Specialty Fishes, the Amur Caviar group developed over 10 hybrid sturgeons of different features according to the quality of pure sturgeons and husos after multiple attempts, among which the Hybrid Sturgeon (Huso Dauricus female & Acipenser Schrenckii male) is a fine species of farmed sturgeon especially in China. Female fishes lay eggs when they are 8 – 10 years or older.

    Hybrid Sturgeon has a long body with 5 rows of bone lamellas on the black back and a white venter. It has such features as fast growth speed, high conversion rate of feed, strong disease resistance, high nutrition value and high dressing percentage.
